HOW TO GET YOUR VEHICLE TEMPORARILY REGISTERED?

Temporary Registration of vehicles will be done by the Dealer at the time of purchase of the vehicle.

The following documents to be collected from the Dealer

• Original Temporary Registration Certificate duly signed and stamped by the dealer

• Form-20 (Duly signed by the owner/In duplicate in case of Hire Purchase/ Hypothecation / Lease duly signed by the Owner and Financier)
• Copies of Form-21 and Invoice issued by the Dealer.

• Form 22 issued by the Manufacturer

• Copy of the Insurance Certificate
• Tax payment receipt.
Note:
The details of Owner like Individual/ Company/ Organisation/ Institution has to be verified and the number of vehicles the Owner possesses to check the details of tax payments to arrive at the different rates of taxes applicable as per Taxation Act and Rules for the payments made at the Dealer.

Validity: 30 days from the date of issue.

Delivery of Documents – Along with the vehicle delivery by the dealer.

 
 
   
HOW TO GET REGISTRATION NUMBER RESERVED FOR YOUR VEHICLE?

No person shall drive any Motor Vehicle and no owner of Motor Vehicle shall cause or permit the vehicle to be driven in any public place or any other place, unless the vehicle is registered.  The registration number is generated by the system in alphabetical order as per the applicants name, however owner may apply for reservation of special number.
Reservation of special Number is a process of assigning a Registration number on the choice of the owner instead of assigning the number in the routine series by collecting some additional fees based on the  number he/she selects.

a)    Requirements for Reservation of Special Number:

•    Form-RRMA- application for reservation of Special Number.
•    Form-RRMTA – for the applicants who participate in auction for the same special number in bidding process.
•    Temporary Registration Certificate, Tax payments receipt
•    The special number selected from the available list of 1000 numbers listed on the notice board / department web site excluding the numbers marked as (R) already reserved numbers.
•    The applicant has to prepare the Demand Draft for the adequate fees against the Special Number available for reservation as per the APMV Act and Rules and service charge along with the application and should drop in the Drop Box before 1 P.M. except in the 5 offices in Hyderabad District where online process is being implemented.
Note:
•    The Drop Box will be opened after 1 P.M. and the applications received will be sorted as per the number of applicants for each Special Number and the details are verified.
•    If only one application received for special number so requested then the number is directly reserved to the vehicle for which the applicant has applied and a proceeding confirming the reservation of special number is generated and given to the applicant.
•    If there are more than one applicant requesting for the same number they have to fill the application in Form RRMTA with a demand draft not less than the adequate fees against the Special Number and should submit the Demand Draft in a sealed envelop to the Registering Authority for bidding process except the offices in Hyderabad District where online process is being implemented.
•    Bid amount details of all the bidders need to entered into the system and the system assigns the reserved number to the highest successful bidder.
•    In case of unsuccessful bid the amount paid by the participant will be returned.
•    In case of absence of participation in the bidding process the amount paid for reservation of special number will be forfeited.
•    The special numbers so reserved are valid for 15 days from the date of issue.
•    If the vehicle is not registered within 15 days the number so reserved is automatically get cancelled.
•    The same process for reservation is to be followed for vehicles from other state and converted vehicles.

b)    Requirements for reservation of number in Current/ Tatkaal Scheme:
•    The applicant should have already applied for registration of his vehicle in the office on the day of application for Current/Tatkaal Scheme.
•    The applicant has to choose Current number in the available list of Current number generation report before the registering Authority. Form-RRMA- application for reservation of Current/Tatkaal Number.
•    Form-RRMTA – for the applicants who participate in auction for the same Current/Tatkaal in bidding process.
•    The applicant has to prepare the Demand Draft for the adequate fees against the Current/Tatkaal Number available for reservation as per the APMV Act and Rules and service charge along with the application.
•    If there are more than one applicant requesting for the same number they have to fill the application in Form RRMTA with a demand draft not less than the adequate fees against the Current/Tatkaal Number and should submit the Demand Draft in a sealed envelop to the Registering Authority for bidding process.
Note:

HOW TO GET REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE RENEWED?

Requirements for Renewal of Registration Certificate:
• Form – 25 for Non-Transport Category (duly signed by the Registered Owner / duly signed by owner and financier if covered by finance)
• Original Certificate of Registration.
• Insurance Certificate
• Pollution Under Control Certificate
• Vehicle shall be produced before the Inspecting Authority for inspection in Good Condition.
• Tax payment receipt
• Applicable Green Tax as per Rules.
Note: The application should be filed 60 days before the date of expiry of registration certificate.

Late Fees:  

In case of delay in applying for renewal of certificate of registration, an additional fee of three hundred rupees for delay of every month or part thereof in respect of motor cycles and five hundred rupees for delay of every month or part thereof in respect of other classes of non- transport vehicle shall be levied.     

Validity:
The Non-Transport Category vehicle is renewed for 5 years from the date of approval if application is submitted after expiry date of registration certificate or if it submitted before the date of expiry then 5 years from the date of expiry.

HOW TO GET THE NO-OBJECTION CERTIFICATE FOR YOUR VEHICLE?

Requirements for issue of NOC to leave the State:
Visit Transport Department Website (transport.telangana.gov.in) go to Online Services and book slot by selecting Issue of NOC and pay the fee online.
•    Form – 28 in Triplicate(duly signed by the owner/in quadruplicate in case of Hire Purchase/ Hypothecation/ Lease agreement duly signed by the owner and financier)
•    The Police clearance certificate from the area Police Station or from the CCS Detective Department from the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Telangana, Hyderabad and Traffic Department.
•    Tax Clearance Certificate.
Note:
The vehicle should be clear from all the tax and compounding fee arrears pending against the vehicle. And also should check the vehicle from theft or objection noted against the vehicle for which NOC is requested.
