Anyone desirous of having a driving test in Telangana after obtaining the Learner Licence must seek a prior appointment on the transport department website and book a slot if available by paying requisite fee and user charges. Available slots are given in green and slots not available are shown in red.
Visit Transport Department Website (transport.telangana.gov.in) go to Online Services and book slot by selecting Fresh Driving Licence / Addition of class of vehicle, pay the fee and user charges online. You will be given an acknowledgement
confirming your appointment along with the amounts you paid and
also the documents you need to bring for the test. Visit Driving Testing Track selected by you on the date and time of slot along with Vehicle and relevant documents.
If you have an old learning licence number you may book slot for new Learner Licence by selecting the new Learner Licence in place expired Learner Licence in online services of Transport Department by entering the old Learner Licence Number.
Yes you can modify your slot. Visit Transport Department portal transport.telangana.gov.in from where the slot is booked and click on Need a confirmatin slip/Cancellation/Modify of slot and you can modify the dates. This facility is allowed only once.
Yes you can book for your driving test on any track of your choice in Hyderabad,Rangreddy and Medchal Malkajgiri Districts. The idea of slot booking is give you choices to suit your convenience.
For other districts slots will be shown for the Track where the Learner Licence is issued.

There are no emergency slots. You are advised to plan your licence well in advance. This is a statutory function and services are subject to availability of slots and test tracks. Kindly be advised that you plan for your tests well in advance
In case your learner licence is expiring, then take new learner licence after expiry and apply again.
Remember when you take new learner licence after expiry you will have to wait for a minimum of thirty days from the date of issue of new learner licence.
Preferably block your date immediatley after takiig your learner licence
